Hello there. I'm Kim, 22 years old and from the US. It's been quite a while since I've watched anime or read manga, but I'm getting back into it, and would like some friends that are interested in it. I don't have an incredible amount of time or money, so I'm usually really behind in series. I don't even try and keep up really, but I'll watch/read whatever I find interesting.

Anime/Manga: I like a lot of different series. If I've finished the series it's safe to say it's a favorite ^^. Ghost in the Shell (my first), Death Note, Monster, various Gundams, Loveless, Gravitation, Full Metal Alchemist, Saiyuki (and everything else by Kazuya Minekura), Full Metal Panic, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha <3, Nana, Angel Sanctuary (and anything else by Kaori Yuki), etc. I'm sure I'm forgetting some and completely missing out on what's new :D

Games: I'm a big gamer, but again, can't keep up with new games. Sadly, I don't own any of the next gen systems (yet). I absolutely adore my DS though. Final Fantasy, in a big obsessive way. I love all the ones I have played (everything but XI and X-2). Star Ocean, Sonic the Hedgehog, Fire Emblem, Super Robot Wars, Chrono Trigger, Wild Arms, Tales series (I need to get more of these), Mega Man, Metal Gear Solid, Morrowind, some Star Wars games, Pokemon, Xenogears/saga, Mario, Zelda, etc. I like mostly RPGs, but I'm into anything with a good story and nice gameplay.

Music: I've got a big passion for music. Some Japanese artists I like are: Dir en grey, MUCC, D'espairsRay, Ayumi Hamasaki, LUNA SEA, Utada Hikaru, BUCK-TICK. I also like game composers (Nobuo Uematsu of course), anime composers (Yoko Kanno being my absolute favorite). Lately I've been into Korean music as well like: Epik High, DBSK, and Super Junior. I like a wide variety of non-asian music as well.

Other: I'm a writer. I write mainly fanfiction and poetry at the moment, and I would love to have other writing friends. I'm into both Yaoi and Yuri and anything in between. I'm pretty open minded; there's very little in fiction that squicks me. I absolutely love to read, so if you write for any of my fandoms I'll probably check it out. I also like doramas, comic books, and working on icons and what not. I don't update that much, but I'm trying to do so more often. I'll totally nab all of the main Gundam HGs and might buy 1/100 for the mechas with awesome performance. I hope Multi will have the s2 trading figures in their gachapon machine later, or I'm gonna cry. Bandai also need to make Masked!Graham figure :'DDDD.

Man, I'm so sure that I will eat only bananas, instant noodles and water sometime in the future. It is soooooo clear that I'm destined to be poor this year lol.

WAH! My summer holidays are over for this year :( Those four weeks passed FAR too quickly.

But.. to encourage myself today, on the first day of work, I made myself a Kitty bento. With onigiri and sushi (my Big kid wanted sushi for dinner so I made a huge batch)

It also gave me a reason to test out my new Hello Kitty onigiri-set I recently got from J-list :)

Bento # 359 In the front: Four onigiri filled mostly with smoked salmon, one of the Kitty's has surimi and wasabi instead. Surrounded by salmon roses and sliced surimi. In the back: Maki sushi with various filling; Surimi/cucumber/wasabi, Surimi/wasabi/spring onion/mayo, Salmon paté/spring onion/mayo. Pickled ginger in the middle, and soy in the piggie.

Miles glanced at the clock on the wall. It was 4.30pm. He still had a lot of paperwork that required his attention if he wanted a day off for himself tomorrow. He had a trial against Wright next week. It was raining heavily outside. He pinched the bridge of his nose and weighed up his options.

"Hmm. Maya, can you meet me at the Angel Food Bakery in twenty minutes?"
